What is Needed for Plant Growth
It should be simple to grow plants. Simple is beautiful.
There’s a ton of misinformation out there and it confuses people who are new to growing. I want to dispel that misinformation here.
Plants need 16 elements to grow. That’s it, as far as we scientifically know.
The elements are:
Carbon, Hydrogen, Oxygen (C-H-O)
Nitrogen, Phosphorous, Potassium (N-P-K)
Calcium, Magnesium, Sulfur (Ca-Mg-S)
Iron, Copper, Manganese, Zinc, Boron, Molybdenum, Chlorine (Fe - Cu - Mn - Zn - B - Mo - Cl)
That’s it. Plants don’t need anything else.
When you see products that are trying to “remineralize” the soil or give you every element possible so your plants can be the healthiest, don’t be fooled.
Your plants don’t need anything beside the 16 elements to thrive.
